Brand and content policy
Last updated 8 November 2026
Monami helps people discover new releases from fashion brands, and sends them to each brand's own store to buy. This page explains how we collect and show brand content, and how brands and rights holders can ask us to change or remove it.
How we collect
- We only read information that brands publish openly on their own online stores, such as public product feeds and sitemaps.
- We follow each site's robots.txt rules and identify ourselves honestly as "MonamiBot".
- We check each store at most once a day, with pauses between requests, so we don't burden it.
- We never get around logins, paywalls or bot protection. If a site blocks automated access, we don't collect from it.
- Some large houses are listed by hand from their public releases instead of collected automatically.
What we show
- For each piece: a small preview image, its name, price, category and release week, with a link straight to the brand's product page.
- We don't sell products, show full catalogs or copy product descriptions.
- We keep small preview images of past releases so the release history stays complete. They're reduced copies used only to identify the piece and point to its source.
- Showing a brand doesn't mean the brand works with us or endorses us, unless we say so.
For brands
Most brands we list are glad of the extra visitors, especially independent labels. If you run a brand, you can add your store, correct your details, or ask us to stop. Email oneguatemalan@gmail.com from an address at your brand's domain and tell us what you'd like:
- correct your brand's name, country or category;
- remove specific images or pieces;
- stop collecting from your store and remove your brand from the site.
We aim to act within 5 working days, and we'll confirm when it's done.
Copyright and trademark notices
If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright or trademark, send a notice to oneguatemalan@gmail.com with:
- your name and contact details, and the rights holder you represent;
- the work or trademark concerned;
- the page address (URL) of the content on our site;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized, and that your notice is accurate;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We review every notice promptly and remove content where appropriate. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can reply with a counter-notice explaining why.
